The Brindabella Motor Sport Club (BMSC) is running the Horizon Apartments Narooma Forest Rally
on Saturday 3rd August.
The event has been successfully run by the BMSC since 2014 and is always
popular with competitors. The 2019 event is using similar roads to previous years, however many
are being used in the reverse direction and as a result, it is a completely different rally.
The Event is a round of the following series:
Round 4 of the NSW Clubman Rally Series (CRS)
Round 4 of the NSW Development Rally Series (DRS).
Round 4 of the NSW Open Rally Series (ORS).
Round 4 of the Hyundai Rally Series (HRS).
Round 5 of the Techworkz Automotive ACT Regional Rally Series.
A bumper field are expected to travel to Narooma to battle it out on the forest roads.
The Event will include a Club competition known as Damesa Industries Stages . The Club event is
designed for Novice Crews or those who do not regularly compete but who would like to have fun,
without chasing sheep-stations. Oliver Jentsch, the owner of Damesa, has put up cash prizes for
The Narooma Forest Rally has always been a compact event and this year, we have shaved 102
kilometres of transport. As a result, only one service point has been provided.
The event is a blind rally (for those competing in the NSW and ACT Rally Series). A Pacenote section
is available for those who do not want to chase a Championship. The Outright Awards will be
presented to those entered the blind rally.
The BMSC would like to thank the Horizon Apartments and the Eurobodalla Shire Council for their
ongoing support of the event.
