Welcome to the 2018 APS Myall Lakes Rally. The Nissan Datsun Drivers’ Club welcome the return of APS AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION & POWER STEERING SPECIALIST as the event major sponsor. Visit their website apsautomatics.com.au. APS is located in Richmond and they specialise in all mechanical repairs – they will make sure your tow vehicle or family car is in first class condition. You will arrive safe and sound with the knowledge that APS have serviced your vehicle.
Once again we have included the Myall Introductory Rally. This gives crews the opportunity to experience the thrills of rallying without having to have a fully prepared rally car. Crews will need to have a Terratrip, fire extinguisher, helmets, seat belts etc. The crews will compete over the first two stages, covering approximately 43 kilometres competitive and 80 kilometres in total. No service crews will be required with crews finishing just after midday.
Following the Myall Introductory Rally will be the Myall Lakes Rally. The Lakes event will be:
Round 3 of the TechWorkz Clubman Rally Series, Development Rally Series, Premier Panel Beating Hyundai Rally Series and the SpeedMaster Open Rally Series.
This year’s event differs from the past years with 5 Special Stages with no stage being repeated. Past crews will recognise all the stages but not in the format they are being conducted. Each stage presents a different challenge with varying road conditions, from ultra-smooth forest roads to the more traditional roads in the Bulahdelah State Forest. We have provided one service point at the Bulahdelah Showground.
In addition to the above, the Club is also conducting the Myall Cross Country Rally. This is for vehicles that would normally compete in events such as the Condo 750. This part of the rally will include standard & modified 4WD vehicles that excel in tough conditions. With little competition available for these vehicles, the opportunity for them to have a fun day has never been easier.
Friday 22nd June provides an opportunity for crews to complete their documentation making Saturday morning more relaxing.
Catering will be provided all day at the Showground Service Parl by the Bulahdelah Scout group. This is the main fund raising activity for the group with great food available.
The presentation will be held immediately the results are in. Many of the crews will be able to head home after the event as we will be finished not long after 5:30pm.
We look forward to seeing you all at Bulahdelah on the 23 June.

The CAMS NSW Rally Panel regrets to advise that NSW competitors have been left with little option but to call for the 2018 Kennards Hire Rally Australia to be removed from the NSW calendar. This is disappointing as it could have been a fitting finale to the MTA NSW Rally Championship and the East Coast […]Continue Reading →

With the 2018 V Sport Rallysprint series starting in just on a week, we thought it best to review last years series winners BK Motorsport is Bruce McDougall and Kellie Pearce, a family rally team based in Nana Glen in the Coffs Coast region.
