 Matt Love

Started his connection with motorsport as a child in Sydney, including such things as putting stickers on Southern Cross Rally cars. He was an official on the very first Wynns Safari in 1985. The first car he built was a VW Baja, then an off-road buggy. His first rally car was an RX3 providing a number of great runs through the local forests. Next was an RX7 with which he won the Group 6 Rally Series. This was handed on to his son Josh and the build of a replica Group B RX7 took over the shed. Matt has proudly handmade most of the parts on this car and it has been a meticulous job.

What are the clubs plans for 2016 and the future?

To continue to encourage young people to compete in Khanacross events, host other events such as Rallysprints and one day hopefully find some land that we can call ‘home’ to run our Khanacross events and even other low speed events. Attracting new members is a challenge.
